Suno is partnering with Warner Music Group following WMG’s June 2024 lawsuit against the AI music generator. The deal gives Suno access to high-quality licensed tracks for training, while allowing WMG artists to opt in to letting their names, images, likenesses, and voices be used in AI-generated music. Onton, an AI-powered shopping platform, is expanding beyond furniture after raising $7.5 million. Its model is purpose-built for shopping and paired with image generation to help users discover products they love through visual ideation. More here.
Character AI removed open-ended chats for users under 18 and shifting to safer, guided interactive stories. As of yesterday, minors can no longer message AI characters directly; instead, they’ll use new safety-first experiences designed for younger audiences. The change follows recent lawsuits involving companies like OpenAI and Character AI. More here.
Find Your Grind raised $5 M to expand its career-exploration platform for students. Led by Nick Gross, the platform combines an AI-powered “Reflective Coach” with interactive lifestyle, career assessments and coaching from mentors like Tony Hawk, and will.i.am to help young people identify meaningful job paths outside traditional schools. With massive AI spending underway, it’s worth remembering how recent missteps have hurt companies, most notably Intel. In 2020, Intel invested heavily in CPU infrastructure and missed the industry shift to GPUs for AI. The lesson: allocate capital toward future compute needs, not legacy revenue. Intel’s stock has fallen since 2021 while the Nasdaq has almost doubled. More here.
New Features

Google rolled out interactive images to the Gemini app as the Gemini 3 launch continues. Built for studying, the feature lets you visually explore and interact with concepts more intuitively. More here.
Design Corner:
On this week’s design corner I wanted to highlight Kyle Anthony Miller who not only has A+ design, but consistently elevates how a project is presented, whether through thoughtful merch, polished branding, or a standout creative one-pager. His company, Brass Hands, partners with teams in AI, defense, and industrial innovation to bring their ideas to life with clarity and style.
