I really like the design corner... let's keep that up! Would be very cool to have a designer come on TWIST and do "design reviews" of popular products or services for... foudners would LEARN A LOT!

Amazon is also an Anthropic company investor (just stood up a near gigawatt Claude 5 trainium2 cluster for them).

They plannin on stoppin Claude-on-Chrome from doing the same thing on Amazon?

If so, would be very short-sited. Get the telemetry and use it to make Amazon BETTER for both agents/people.

100% on Perplexity's side of this fight. Amazon has a real scarcity mindset here. Letting Perplexity Comet users buy stuff on Amazon will mean faster and more purchases from Amazon with less second guessing prior to purchase.

I agree, not quite sure why amazon is complaining here. I ordered groceries on Amazon via the Atlas browser. Wouldn't have before.

On Perplexity side too, but Amazon 100% has commercial interests in stopping the bleeding on this, since they can’t innovate fast enough by building counter agents that send yours back with relevant upsells. Shopify, on the other hand, is building product assuming agents will visit their stores.
