While fears of job loss dominate discussions of the AI boom, the reality is that it is also creating new employment opportunities - WSJ. In Umatilla, Oregon — Amazon has been growing its presence via AI data centers. This has led to roughly 8k new jobs in the community to support the data centers. Leon-Tejeda, recently got her real estate license and is looking to profit. More here.
CocaCola released a Christmas themed AI-generated ad, again. CocaCola’s “Create Real Magic” platform, launched with OpenAI and Bain in 2023, has continued to develop, using newer DALL·E and GPT technologies to let people create personalized Coca-Cola–themed artwork and digital experiences. This is now the 2nd holiday generative AI ad and the improvements are obvious, the company also said that they used fewer people to make it. The video is longer and higher quality. Watch below. Studio Ghibli vs OpenAI. OpenAI has often taken a “seek forgiveness, not permission” approach to copyrighted material, making it easy for users to generate images and videos featuring protected characters or even deceased public figures. Japan’s Content Overseas Distribution Association (CODA) has urged OpenAI to stop using its members’ content for training without consent. Despite this, OpenAI seems unlikely to change course, though it may have to pay a few “speeding tickets” along the way. More here.
ClickUp adds two AI assistants. San Diego–based ClickUp, the all-in-one productivity platform, is expanding its AI lineup as rivals like Notion and Slack ramp up their own. One assistant will monitor communication channels to answer team questions automatically, while the other, “Brain,” will sit in the sidebar to help with broader tasks such as drafting content, summarizing information, and analyzing reports. Nvidia and Deutsche Telekom Partner for $1.15B. This partnership will boost Germanys AI computing power by a reported 50%. The project is expected to start in early 2026. Nvidia will contribute the AI hardware and computing technologies while Deutsche Telekom will provide physical infrastructure (Facilities and telecom network) More here.

Speaking of Mati Staniszewski, ElevenLabs just shared an impressive October update from their founder, Mati Staniszewski. ElevenLabs launched Agent Workflows (Alpha) for building conversation flows, plus new server tools, a React SDK, and security updates for smoother automation. They also added video support to Voice Isolator and released an open-source UI library for chat and voice apps. More here.
Anthropic signs one of its biggest deals yet with Cognizant Technology Solutions. The professional-services giant will become one of Anthropic’s three largest customers, rolling out Claude to its 350,000 employees. Anthropic’s other two major enterprise deals are with IBM and Deloitte. Read more.
